A downloadable One Page Adventure

Tales of the abandoned wizard's tower on the hill have reached your ears, and given that recently there's been rumours of a nasty bear moving in, now might be the time for you to have a poke around. But beware, a wizard seldom leaves his tower undefended, even decades after his disappearence...

The Tumbledown Tower of Magnificent Malanganan* is a BX-compatible one-page adventure set in a rickety old tower in the wilderness or town of your choosing. Either use it as the location of a macguffin in your campaign, or tease your players with a rather straightforward bear eviction, with the possibility of magical loot if they feel brave enough to claim it!

Although designed with the BX rules of the original fantasy game in mind, this adventure is compatible with almost any OSR or fantasy rpg system of your choosing. Playtesting resulted in a playtime of 3-4 hours depending on how curious your players are, so this one's great for one-offs or to drop into your hexcrawl for an evening's gaming!

Also included is a textless player-facing map for use with VTTs

ran this adventure for 7 people recently- went absolutely awesome. very efficient use of space, maps were pretty clear and easy to replicate, actual concept and tone was fun (though I did modify the premise to my own needs- which was very easy to do!!) overall a really well designed, easy to run adventure, even for 7 people! took about 3 hours, and that included essentially skipping a floor to save time :)

Wow, so glad you had fun with it! Thank you for playing :)

Update: added another version of the map with the secret door removed (for VTT play)
